Симбиоз искажённых ритмов и холодного мелодизма, подчиняющий танцполы и разрывающий их децибелами дисторшированных пульсаций, переносит зрителя на дно темного сознания, во внутренний мир, погрязший во лжи, насилии и пороках, которые, словно кишащие паразиты, выедают изнутри человеческое «Я» в каждом из нас. HOCICO:
Лет десять назад вряд ли кто-то мог даже помылить о том, что через некоторое время задавать тон всей мировой электро-индустриальной сцене будет не какая-нибудь европейская или, скажем, канадская команда, а дуэт из жаркой Мексики с непривычно звучащим названием HOCICO. Сегодня это уже данность, которую нельзя не принять: проект HOCICO – образованный в 1992 году подростками Эрком Гарсия и Оскаром Майогра, выросшими в Мехико-сити, городе, на улицах которого бок о бок соседствовали нищета и преступность – одно из главных, если не самое главное, имя в современной экстремальной электронике. Еще при знакомстве с самыми первыми работами HOCICO, несмотря на их сырость и несовершенность звучания, становилось понятно, что в этой группе определенно что-то есть. Да и один тот факт, что двое парней из далекой Мексики с внешностью инопланетян исполняют агрессивную темную электронику, совмещая современные технологии с национальным колоритом своей родины, сам по себе вызывал любопытство, а наличие в репертуаре группы песен на родном для музыкантов испанском языке еще более усугубляло интригу. Жаркая, яростная, эмоциональная, завораживающая музыка с нечеловеческим вокалом не могла не выделить проект из общей массы электронных групп и довольно быстро обрела поклонников во многих уголках земного шара. Ставший фирменным стиль темпераментного дуэта сегодня безуспешно пытаются имитировать многочисленные подражатели по всему миру. Сами HOCICO продолжают выпускать альбомы один лучше другого и активно гастролируют: на их счету, помимо многочисленных европейских концертов, также значатся выступления в Японии и Израиле и уже два визита в Россию. Двое друзей проделали огромный путь из самого натурального андерграунда к выступлениям перед многотысячной аудиторией главных тематических оупен-эйров и кавер-стори в ведущих специализированных печатных изданиях. В 2004 году к нам приезжали подающие надежды новички, в 2006 мы видели уже заработавших хорошую репутацию профессионалов, сейчас к нам едут хэдлайнеры с колоссальным концертным опытом. И если самой экстремальной формой танцевальной музыки для вас до сих пор являются группы типа the PRODIGY и PENDULUM, то, скорее всего, после посещения сумасшедшего шоу HOCICO, концерты этих коллективов покажутся вам не более заводными, чем детский утренник!
